Retatrutide

Retatrutide (research code LY3437943) is a synthetic single-chain peptide that appears in the metabolic-research literature as a triple receptor agonist: it has measurable activity at the GIP receptor, the GLP-1 receptor and the glucagon receptor. It belongs to the same broad class of incretin-receptor peptides as semaglutide and tirzepatide, and differs from them in the third receptor target.

Structurally it is a 39-residue peptide with a lipid side chain attached through a linker, a modification the literature associates with extended circulating half-life in the models studied. The molecular data table above lists the CAS number, formula and molar mass as recorded for the compound.

Structure-activity work on its lipidation and half-life extension is documented alongside that of tirzepatide and semaglutide.
