Ipamorelin

Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide, five residues written Aib-His-D-2-Nal-D-Phe-Lys-NH2. Three of those are non-standard: aminoisobutyric acid at the N terminus, D-2-naphthylalanine, and a D-phenylalanine, with the C terminus capped as an amide. Those substitutions are what distinguish it from an ordinary peptide chain and are described in the literature as giving it resistance to enzymatic breakdown.

CAS 170851-70-4, formula C38H49N9O5, molar mass 711.86 g/mol. It belongs to the growth-hormone secretagogue family, which act at the ghrelin receptor, rather than to the GHRH-analogue family that CJC-1295 belongs to.

Ipamorelin appears in receptor-pharmacology literature as a selective agonist at the growth hormone secretagogue receptor, GHS-R1a, which is the ghrelin receptor.

Published studies have reported growth hormone release in rodent and in-vitro pituitary cell models, and the selectivity claim rests on papers reporting that it did so without the changes in cortisol and prolactin seen with earlier secretagogues in the same models. That selectivity is the main reason it is used as a reference compound in this class.

The findings above come from animal, cell and in-vitro models rather than from controlled trials in people, and Ipamorelin is not an approved medicine in Canada. What we supply is a laboratory reagent, not for human or veterinary use.

Read those certificates for what they are: they were issued by the laboratory named on them to our supplier for that production lot, and our batch code is the internal receipt reference we assign, so it does not appear on the PDF.
